Owning a borderline-aggressive dog can feel isolating, exhausting, frustrating-and sometimes hopeless.
Hand on chest, we reassure you that you are not alone.
We know your dog is worth loving and we’re in this with you.
Gosh, it hurts your heart knowing there’s the slightest chance your dog’s behavior poses a threat to someone's safety. If it’s already happened to you or someone you love, it’s just gut-wrenching. Because it doesn’t change the fact you still love your dog. You just hope your dog can somehow change the way they react to others, for their sake, and for everyone else’s.
Again, we promise you’re not alone.
You may be wondering what’s causing your dog to act this way. We wish we could tell you, but honestly, we can’t. Every dog has their own individual personality, history, and past exposures to certain environments. It could very well be a number of things.
One thing we know for sure is that it’s not your fault.
In our Behavior Modification Program, your dog will learn how to calmly socialize with others in a neutral space (that’s our home, by the way) as we commit them to a tailored plan fit for their behavioral issues. “Measurable” progress aside, our goal is to support your dog in becoming the confident companion you know they can be.
